Organo Gold Mycelium Ganoderma Lucidum

ORGANO's organic Ganoderma production means our spore powder contains over 99% open spores compared to plastic bag harvesting methods employed by competing companies.

Spores of Ganoderma mushrooms are extremely delicate, only available during their natural life cycle and obtained using brushes for collection. Their fine powder resembles baby powder in appearance.

What is Ganoderma Lucidum?

Ganoderma Lucidum, also known as Reishi or Lingzhi in Chinese culture, has long been used as part of traditional Asian medicine to promote wellness and vitality as well as strengthen immunity in humans.

Ganoderma lucidum, or Ganoderma, is one of the most commonly used mushrooms today. It's primarily used to stimulate the immune system, but it also boosts immunity due to its antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties. This mushroom can also stimulate the human natural killer cell's activity, increasing their levels of activity and stimulating them directly.

Ganoderma has also been shown to possess anti-depressant, analgesic, and antibacterial properties; used for treating hepatitis, bronchitis and other infectious diseases; it also acts as an immunomodulator which has been utilized in treating fibromyalgia patients.

Reishi mushroom belongs to the Ganodermataceae Basidiomycetes. It has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for centuries to increase longevity and vitality. Reishi contains a number of bioactive components such as polysaccharides triterpenes proteins and polysaccharides with diverse biological activities. These include anti-inflammatory, diabetes treatment and immunomodulatory. Studies have also indicated that Ganoderic Acid A might exert various biological effects, including anti-inflammatory treatment, immunomodulation and diabetes treatment1.

Reishi mushrooms are an important component in many natural products manufactured and distributed worldwide, notably those in Japan and China. Reishi is used widely in skincare products, food products and traditional medicines.

Reishi is an immunostimulant made up of over 100 oxygenated Triterpenes. It has been studied because of its ability to boost immunity and stimulate natural killer cells. Reishi also has antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and wound healing properties; plus it reduces oxidative stress in livers. Reishi is also able to protect rats from radiation- and chemotherapy induced toxicity.

How is Ganoderma Lucidum produced?

Ganoderma lucidum (commonly known as "red "reishi") is one of the many species that are called "red "reishi." This bracket or'shelf fungus' has an attractive, reddish brown hue. It can grow to over 40 inches long, wide, and 4 inch thick. It is believed to have adaptogenic properties, and is cultivated for its healing benefits. There are over 400 species in Ganoderma, a vast genus. Among them, applanatum and Lucidum are the most popular.

Ganoderma, commonly referred to as Reishi or Ganoderma in East Asian cultures, is a polypore fungus belonging to the Polyporales order of basidiomycota that has long been grown for its health-strengthening and immune-enhancing properties. Reishi is known to reduce stress, increase longevity and improve sexual vigilance. This reishi formula combines the powder, capsules, and extract forms.

The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal growth parameters for G. Lucidum using potato-dextrose-agar (PDA), plates and slants. Our results showed that mycelial proliferation increased as the incubation temperature increased until it reached 30degC, whereupon a peak was reached and then decreased over time.

Worldwide, medicinal mushrooms are valued for their positive effects on health. Ganoderma Lucidum, a popular variety, has been valued for its health benefits. It is often called the red or king medicinal mushroom due to its reddish color and its numerous health benefits.

Reishi (in Chinese), is used to treat conditions such as hypertension, sleep disorders and other diseases. The fungus has active compounds such triterpenes and Polysaccharides. These may contribute to it's medicinal qualities.

Reishi mushroom grows best on hardwoods such as oak, beech, birch or alder trees. However, they can also grow wild along hedges and parkwaysides. Reishi has been used as medicine for over 4000 years as it is recognized for its health-strengthening, anti-inflammatory and immune-supportive qualities as well as being rich in minerals such as iron potassium and zinc.

Why is Ganoderma Lucidum so beneficial?

Ganoderma Lucidum possesses powerful antioxidant and immune-enhancing properties, notably its polysaccharide beta-glucans. This powerful medicinal plant also helps protect against free radicals.

As an adaptogen maca can be a powerful source for balance and support when you are under stress. This is due to its abundance in beta-glucans, which boost immunity while promoting circulation.

Reishi is also known as Rei-sheng in Japanese. It is believed to have anti-inflammatory properties, aid mental and physical endurance and relieve fatigue and depression, while improving sleep and increasing energy.

Ganoderma lucidum can help lower cholesterol by way of its rich supply of peptides that can reduce both blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels, as well as polysaccharides like triterpenes and beta-glucans that contain triterpenes and beta-glucans to decrease LDL (bad) and increase HDL (good) levels.

Both ethanolic and water soluble G. lucidum Extracts contain many of these same beneficial components. However, ethanolic is unable to separate the triterpenes and other polysaccharides to achieve maximum effectiveness.

Studies have shown G.lucidum can inhibit the differentiation of adipocytes, produce hypoglycaemic actions, and promote immune functions to increase resistance to disease. Reishi has polysaccharides with similar efficacy.

Ganoderma lumidum is unique due to the growing conditions. One kilogram of product must be harvested from 1,000kg worth of spores to make one kg! Furthermore, collecting them without crushing requires ganoderma tea special techniques - so naturally it's one of the more expensive supplements on the market! ORGANO, however, has perfected this method so that our customers can enjoy the many benefits of Reishi in a 100% organic form.

What is the best method to take Ganoderma lucidum?

Water-soluble extracts are the best way to maximize the benefits of Ganoderma Lucidum. While water-soluble extracts might be less concentrated than those made from ethanol, they still contain more of the beneficial compounds. Plus, they are easier to consume.

Our water-soluble extract of Reishi mushrooms combines three components - spores, mycelium and the lucidum cap - into one potent blend for maximum benefit and unique health properties. Each part offers unique health benefits and properties: for example spores have high concentrations antioxidants which support immune health, while mycelium acts as a network connecting cells - with antibacterial and antifungal properties. Lastly, the Lucidum cap has powerful polysaccharides that reduce inflammation and support healthy hepatic function.

Reishi mushrooms have many uses. Some people include it in their cooking directly, while others consume powdered supplements and capsules that contain it. It has proven to treat a range of different conditions from cancer, high blood-pressure and arthritis to chronic fatigue syndrome and cancer.

Reishi can increase energy levels, lower cholesterol and protect your heart from damage. Its anti-depressant and anti-anxiety properties have also been studied. Reishi's polysaccharides may have immunostimulatory properties as they help promote proliferation of T and B lymphocytes as well as splenic mononuclear cells, natural killer (NK) cells and dendritic cells - thus providing numerous health benefits.

Organo Gold uses a natural approach to mushroom farming, which results in more Ganoderma spores that are used in its Poudre De Spores Ganoderma. This makes the mushrooms rarer and more valuable than those grown in plastic bags. Our Ganoderma spores look like fine powdered rice and can only harvested during the natural life cycle of mushroom reproduction. They cannot be reproduced artificially. One kilogram of our prized Reishi mushroom powder is made from 1,000kg of this special spore-powder!
